Once you have told us what you would like. Whether in great detail or just a vague description. We can if required design the piece based on things you have told us you like or from scratch.
Quite often we will design on paper even if you haven't asked for an illustration first. We do this so we can accurately come up with cutting lists and quote for the material used.
The minimum we require to come up with a design are the measurements. Height, width and depth is a must but if there are any other requirement, we also need to know their related measurements or at least it's main use. For example. If you plan to place a stereo inside a cabinet you wish us to build, we will need to know how high, wide and deep the stereo is or the make and model, so we can find out. Quantity may be required also. If you wish to have shelving built to fit your DVD collection on, we will need to know how many DVD's you have.
We don't charge for design work unless you ask us for a design before hand. However if you would like us to make the design we normally discount or waiver the design charge.
